The Natural Bridge Caverns are right down the road from our hill country bed & breakfast lodge. Explore the natural rock formations, go rappelling through limestone caves, and take the kids outdoor rock climbing and zip lining! Walk along the cave paths or take one of the cave spelunking packages, amateur to expert level. The Natural Bridge Caverns also offer a beautiful restaurant overlooking the countryside, with some fine eating.
Bella Vista Olive Oil Ranch in the Hill Country
Hill country olive oil grove designed to reflect a traditional Italian family farm with over 1,000 producing olive trees, a frantoio (olive press), vineyard, winery, a Red Brangus herd and many seasonal fruit and vegetable specialties. Home of the First Texas Olive Oil Co, producer of fresh pressed Texas Extra Virgin olive oil is headquartered at the Wimberley ranch. After harvesting our Texas olive trees, all pressing, milling and bottling operations are performed in a frantoio right here on the Ranch. Bella Vista Cellars, also located on the Ranch, is a winery that hand-crafts country wines. Using fruit grown on the ranch, as well as the highest quality grapes grown locally, we create Italian varietals and an offering of fruit wines including a popular blackberry wine. Stop by our tasting room and gift shop to enjoy the fresh olive oils, wines and other gourmet foods made here at the ranch.
